The Ledouxs
The Ledouxs show that the wedding day is always a task to make sure the everything is perfectly aligned. Despite having captured quite a few weddings in my years of photography, clients never cease to amaze me on unique locations. For this particular wedding we travel to “Plan Bee Brewery”. If you cannot tell by the name, the location is a Brewery; however, it has a ton of nature and animals around. I had the pleasure of capturing a few unique shots on the day of. My only instructions were to capture the candid moments. I approach this in my documentary style with a bit of a light and airy feel.
The Location
On the way up I took note that the location wasn’t really accessible for viewing on google maps. When you arrive, there is a side road off of the main road that leads to an entryway with signs. This will tell you how to enter the Brewery, which at first glance just looks to be a large plot of land. When you enter, you notice that you are on the very top of a hill that looks down into a lower valley area covered by beautiful trees and brush. After a bit more inspection, I came across a pen with roosters and another with a male and female goat. A very beautiful break from the norm.
The Event
With the sun high in the sky, the wedding starts off with a few pictures. Both parties prepare for the wedding in separate cabin areas. The focal point for the Bride was a gift to her father in the form of a tie with special words on it. Despite being just east of the parking lot, the ceremony has a HUGE scenic view of the land. Beautiful summer chairs and smiling faces littered the area.
